ND is a football school like it or not. ND pumps the bulk of its money into football. Brey has to contend with the big boys cheating and getting away with it. If the NCAA cracked down on Kentucky, Louisville and UNC to name a few then maybe Brey could land a few 5 stars. But if the big programs are allowed to do whatever and roll along Brey will have to continue maximizing the potential of his recruits who always seem to be lacking that strong inside game meaning more than 1 guy doing all the work underneath.

Mike Brey is a very good coach and ND is lucky to have him. Hell ND is damn lucky to Muffet McGraw coaching the women's team. To have two outstanding coaches running the basketball programs is pretty darn great.
