But what we DO KNOW is that ND was willing to pay a coordinator $1.5 million about 5 years ago, which would have put him in the top handful of highest paid assistants at that time. twalsh, you almost got what I was shooting for in your response. If ND was willing to give Charlie Weis a 30 to 40 million dollar extension after seven games, they definitely will take good care of a coach who has won 108 games in 11 and a half seasons. ND just likes to keep such matters quite.
