Great get, brey. Looking forward to seeing him in an Irish uniform.

Let's here from Argusman and NoCal about how bad the ACC is going to be for ND.

our irish also got a wbb verbal from class of 2019 player Anaya Peoples from Illinois who is rated as the 7th best overall player and the nation's top PG by some recruiting services. great day today for coaches Brey and Mcgraw

I love ND men's ball. Brey is finally getting facilities that he can recruit with. We are becoming a dam good ball school slowly but surely.

boilermaker fans on black and gold are upset about our irish getting him and some don't know why he would want to play mbb at ND. I guess they forget that our irish recently had back to back elite eight appearances and are a regular now in the top 25 polls

Great for our BB programs ... but what McGraw really needs is a big girl to play with Turner and take over once she exhausts her eligibility and graduates.

Didn't McGraw get a really talented center transfer from Nebraska who will have two Years eligibility after this upcoming season?

Carmody looks like a stronger tougher version of Vesturia. Really seems like a perfect fit for Brey's system.

Yes. But she won't be available for the 2017-2018 season. After that she will, but Turner will also be gone. We need at least 2 or 3 big girls to battle for NCs.

our irish could have one of the best guard duos in the nation when 5 star Brown and 5 star Peoples get to campus and get to playing with each other but you are right IrishHerb when you that they basically need multiple bigs to possibly win a title

The Nebraska transfer is a huge get, but ND desperately needs another Brianna Turner caliber, 6'4+ big, in order to hang. Danielle Patterson could be a really good player, but Turner she is not.

Losing Erin Boley as a future "4" hurt a lot, and will be tough to replace. Regardless, projecting to the future, things look bright with a starting lineup that could be....

PG: Jenna Brown (SOPH) 5'10
G: Katlyn Gilbert (SOPH) 5'10
G: Jackie Young (SR) 6'0
F: Danielle Patterson (JR) 6'3
F: Jessica Sheppard (SR) 6'4

Mikaela Vaughn (JR) 6'3
Danielle Cosgrove (SOPH) 6'3
Anya Peoples (FR) 5'11

That lineup has some really solid size to it at all positions and I think Coach will continue to look to add quality grad transfers to the mix. Either an elite big to pair with Sheppard, or a top notch point guard like she did this year with Thompson.

2019 could be an excellent class for McGraw if her staff can put it together. They already have a top 10 player committed in Peoples, and they should be a finalist for Laeticia Amihere, the dynamic 6'4 forward from Kingsway Christian in Milton (suburb of Toronto). She's ranked #2 overall in the class. Breanna Beal is ranked #4 overall in the class and she's a 6'0 off guard from Illinois, who will also highly consider ND. Landing even 2 of those 3 would be huge.
