That's a 35 year period. Hard to believe only 2 teams have averaged 8 wins a season. FSU and Nebraska. Grant it college football was basically a 11 game season till 2006. All those teams in the top 20 have had at least 5-10 years of rough years.Click the green button and start naming schools. See how many you can name in 6 minutes.

Except ..... If you ever did your research you'd find FSU's SOS is every bit as tough as ND. In fact slightly tougher over that time frame. Both averaging around a rank of 20 from mid 90's to 2012.

Go back 35 years dummy. The gap widens even further in favor of FSU. That takes you through the FSU years where "any team anywhere" phrase came to fruition. The FSU SOS was one of the toughest in the country during Bowden's early years..
