Can we please get a dislike button?

it is called the ignore button. By time you read this I will have used it. On you!

Like the others, you will follow Kelly when he leaves; can't be too soon. Then whats left are the ND fans.

so bye bye! nothing can save you.

Ha. If you're talking to me, you're wrong. I just have one ID. You've turned a lot of Irish fans off. If we have similar ideas or posts, that's why.

You claim to be a fan, but you seem to revel in our hardships. Don't you want us to pull it together and get to a bowl?

Wishing somebody to jump off a bridge? I hope our moderator washes your mouth out with soap. How vile can it get around here! There's several around here who love it when ND loses--I don't understand it. Go Irish and beat Navy!

ND is up to 54th in total defense from 103th after VanGorder's last nightmare game.

Yes I've noticed ND's defense has improved since BVG's departure. But our offense has become a bit stagnant at times. After going up 20-0 against Miami, it apparently went into hibernation until the 4th quarter.

The offense has been sputtering ever since Coach Kelly left the offensive side to work with the defense, but he had no choice. The offense did find their footing late and pulled out a win finally. That's a major step for this team IMHO.

HDK and Perseverare publish lots of posts that require one.

I would, of course, dislike this post.

You most recently have objected to my post in the Miami game thread when I used the example of poor special teams play as a reason to replace our coach. You seem to think I was basing my opinion on one game, but in fact, I was using that game as an example of the coach's shortcomings over seven years. A similar one would be my objection to a game plan that had us passing more than 50 percent of the time during a monsoon at NC State.

Other than the fact that I sometimes respond to nasty, right-wing political posts, argue that we weren't cheated out of two other NCs during the Holtz era, that no, Holtz wasn't chased out of town, that yes, ND has had its share of problem athletes, and no, the refs don't screw us every chance they get, I would not say I'm all that disagreeable.

That has been the problem for 7 years. There isn't one season where we had the offense and defense working. It's not just that one is great and the other average, one of those units is usually really bad. Even in '12 our defense was fantastic and our offense was terrible.

I doubt after 7 years he'll get both playing well at the same time.

I don't understand so-called ND fans that only want ND to win 8 games a season. They are absouletly ecstatic with mediocrity.

I hate raining on your parade but if you check the NC State game summary you will see ND ran 39 running plays while averaging an impressive 1.6 yards per play. ND had 26 pass plays for 54 yards/2.1 yards. What do you expect in hurricane conditions. You may now continue your pointless gripe fest.

How many of the running plays were sacks or a quarterback escaping the pocket and trying to run?
