Not sure why he felt compelled to say that, even if it's true. He should have just stuck with not enough evidence. This will, and should, cause him all sorts of problems with his constituency. It's blatant overt favoritism, which our legal system tends to frown upon.

So, I am assuming this guy will have the same compassion for any young person who is sweating and working his butt off on an oil rig or in the steel mills or maybe in the coal mines or maybe some single young mother putting in 12 hour days as a waitress just so her little one can eat. And these "other hard working young people" happen not be be SEC athletes but it won't matter though, because this guy is Mother Teresa in the flesh and he loves ALL hard working sweating young people.

My Bad....I will go with the other argument...lots of people work hard and sometimes make mistakes...welcome to Canada where we let everyone off and no one is to blame....
