There are numerous threads on the issues but if I don't voice mine it won't make me feel better (ha)!

1. I watch A LOT of college football and I've yet to see a worse tackling team than the Irish the last 3 years. How can this not be addressed/fixed?
2. Nyles Morgan while more athletic than Joe Schmidt took himself out of many opportunities to make plays. He constantly got sucked in the middle and the Texas RB would bounce the play outside.
3. This ALL falls on BVG and his inability to get a defense ready to play. You shouldn't need a team full of 5* not to give up 40ppg. Beat deep on cover 3, DB's constantly playing 5-7 yards off the ball, etc. When the same BS is being shown on the field it's time to cut the weak link (BVG)!
4. You can't start (2) 220 lb safeties and expect them to keep up with fast WR.
5. My heart is heavy for Zaire but Kizer won me over. With that said I fee the offensive play calls were not to Zaire's strengths. I don't know why he didn't try to keep it more on the zone read. Why no designed power QB keepers with him, more screens, etc? Obviously he's more of a reaction QB but he was put in a position to read the defense and make the right play. That is where Kizer accelerates.
6. From here on out Zaire needs to be a specialty player like Swoopes. When you get inside the 10yd line bring Zaire in to use his athleticism.
7. The QBs are not the issue. Weak play calling when needing to put the nail in the coffin and a JV defense lost this game.

Why bring in Zaire in the red zone? Kizer is a more effective power runner in a confined space. Zaire is as his best when he can break off a 60 yarder to the house. I feel bad for Zaire. He could start a lot of places, but Kizer is just flat out better.

Here are a few of my complaints to help me feel better. Haha.

While I wanted Zaire to start, the offense definitely ran smoother with Kizer. Why that wasn't obvious to Kelly in the first half, I don't know. Switching QBs every series is not the way to run the offense in any game. (But I've never coached football).
Starting Zaire in the second half was unbelievable. Kizer helped lead the team to the TDs in the first half.

Electing to go on offense first has been frustrating over the years, so virtually every game. I think it's probably good with Navy, and under obvious weather conditions, but not as a rule for Kelly that the vast majority of coaches don't do except for Weis.
Running on third and long late in the game was terrible. You knew the defense wouldn't stop them, especially when it mattered most.

Oh I was glad he elected defense first in overtime. Too bad those principles aren't applied for Kelly to start the game.

Unfortunately, many coaching decision complaints. Keep hoping for the best, but still waiting for 20 plus years.
