I have never seen such a weird throwing motion. I was at game and everyone was astonished by his throwing motion. He looks like
'he is shotputting the ball. I cant believe this has not been addressed in detail

You have seen it
Throwing Napoleon Dynamite GIF

I saw two different motions. The side wonder and the over the top

If I remember correctly, when Buchner came in there was discussion about changing his throwing motion. It seems he has a natural side arm motion. Some say change it, others will say to throw naturally, unless there is concern for injury to the arm due to the throwing motion it seems he’s better with an unorthodox throwing motion, leave it along. It’s like changing Jim Furyk’s golf swing or Tim Lincecum’s pitching motion.

TB definitely has an unorthodox throwing motion. He doesn't seem to stride into his passes, and often delivers the ball from his back foot. The 44Y TD last night to Lenzy was somewhat of a back foot throw, but hard to complain too much because it was right on the money. He has somewhat of a sidearm delivery slot, which is going to cause some of his passes to be batted down. We have seen that already. From what I have read the coaches tried briefly to get him to use a more traditional overhand throwing motion, but it wasn't working for Buchner so he went back to the throwing style he feels comfortable with.

I feel like I would never F with someone's throwing motion if I was a coach. For any number of reasons. #1 it's not my place, even as a coach it's not my place. #2 it might totally backfire. #3 I would just like the variety of it, or the challenge of it and would have no desire to.....

It's very similar to rivers only a shorter motion... He actually seems to have a different motion on deep balls to get more loft which I believe is Rees working with him after he ****ed up his motion with private coach.

His short and intermediate throws come out hot... A couple guys had drops because the ball was moving harder than expected.

He still needs to refine that deep ball but it's looking more and more like high school and I think that's a good thing. He threw at least two deep balls off his back foot with guys in his face laying a hot on him and the ball got there.

You didnt see that with book or Pyne.

Makes me laugh that people thing this guy can be effective with that kind of action

We have a history or recruiting QBs with terrible throwing motions/mechanics. 🙄
