How can a qb at a school that prides itself on intelligence have such brutal mental mistakes over and over ….. he has 4 pick 6s in 120 passes, that’s one every 30 passes or about every full game played. I’ve never seen anything like it. Just mental ability is so bad and it’s clearly not improving

He's going to be good next year.

It’s more of function of his passing accuracy. He has horrible throwing mechanics. ND should not have offered him a scholarship. QB evaluation and development has been abysmal under Rees.

And if they give him the opportunity to compete I wouldn't be surprised if he wins the competition

I told my wife it might be the very first time a QB throws 3 INTs (2 pick6’s) and wins MVP. Diggs should’ve got it IMO.

Haha. You’re probably right about the MVP. If Buchner threw one more pick six, he probably would have won MVP for USC.
