Shocking. The refs tried to keep Okafer in all night last night but amazing how they clip Grant as soon as they can. Carolina and Duke play by different rules. No wonder they have all the conference titles.

Meeks is allowed to just shove Auguste in the back with no call. The refs have no respect for the game of basketball.

What I want to know is this. If we were to win tonight and win the ACC why wouldn't we be the 2 seed instead of Duke. Didn't we beat Duke twice?

Anh, we didn't deserve it anyways. First two possessions to start the half- two turnovers. I am surprised at how unknowledgeable the UNC fan base is. You would think a tradition rich program like that would have fans that know a hack on the forearm is a foul. Very proud of this ND team. Would've been awesome to finally have a championship.

The Heels seem to own the 9 second lane!

Please stop the ref being crap stuff. Basketball isn't like football. Players and coaches realize how the game is being called in the first five minutes and have to adjust. Its part of the game and a waste of time to complain about.

UNC:
-makes 9 more FG's
- 7 more assists
- out rebounds ND
- shoots 53%

Two stats ND did better:
- fouls UNC 18. ND 11
Ft's: 32-7

So a team that made 9 more field goals, shot 50%+ for the game, out rebounded its opponent-yet had the other team shoot 25 more free throws. Yet the team that was not pounding the ball down low received more of the calls down low.

This is why college basketball is dying. I am not even a fan of either team, just looking at the stats.

It's a well established part of the Notre Dame story line for its fans to approach everything with an us-against-them attitude: the commentators are haters, the sports writers are haters, the guy who checked the team into its hotel is a hater, and of course, the refs are haters.

But it's kind of hard to complain about the officiating when you shoot 32 to free throws to your opponents' 7.
