What this has done is make me care less and less about recruiting....or even the team outside of September to November. I mean I have been emotionally invested throughout the year for over 35 years but now? Whatever...let me know when camp opens...or better yet first game as the time in between while something to read about there is no sense actually caring.
From my understanding this is due to Stuckey. Will Colzie and Thomas be next? Rumor has it MF was able to turn them around to continue at ND but will see if it sticks. Thought yesterday MF had turned BJ around but no such luck. When Stuckey was fired it was rumor half the WR room or more planed to hit the portal.
Okay...but he is gone....Stuckey that is...perhaps one of these players may change their mind....perhaps not. College Football as we know it is done and honestly I just cancelled my hotel room for the game I planned to attend next season. I can't be bothered to root for a system that is a glorified semi pro league with virtually no real rules.
I chose die. Not interested in not only learning the new recruits but another 8-15 players names and numbers every season. I guess its time ND put the names on the back of the Jerseys so we can keep track.
It does make me think when I watch a Sam Hartman or a Jack Coan singing the alma mater after a game. Do those guys even go to school beyond a class or two?
Wide receiver room : collzie, thomas, Greathouse, Rico, Faison and Cam Williams. Add another one through the portal so no need to panick although it would have been an advantage to keep Tyree and Braylon.
I remember on two occasions where Faison was stride for stride with two of ND’s fastest players on punt returns. I expect big time results from him next year if Parker does not screw it up. Everyone thought Tyree should have gotten more targets .
