I watched my first Brandon Wimbush interview. He came across to me as the most intelligent down to Earth Irish QB since Brady Quinn. He didn't brag at all and seems confidant but not cocky)
The Irish offense has so many great players and absolutely no weak spots-- The Irish are going to put up alot of points. They could run more so Wimbush doesn't have to wing it all over the field---but EQ and Ali'ze Mack should be automatic first downs on third and seven type passing plays. The great Oline will give him plenty of time to throw and he could just tuck it and run if they don't.
The reason I brought up the Heisman is because lets face it--if Nds offense does well the talking heads will go overboard about about the Notre Dame quarterback like they did about Kizer after the Texas game last year. Especially if the ND quarterback is as fast athletic strong armed and intelligent as Brandon W.
The key for Brandon Wimbush will be to be able to handle success and adversity at an even keel. And I think he can do it.
You heard it from me first Brandon Wimbush will be in the conversation for the Heisman for most of the year. And he will be one of the finalists to go to the ceremony.

Bodi, the offense looks primed to be one of our best in years, and that's saying something. We're talented and deep damn near everywhere. Really anxious to see an offense that can consistently run successfully on key downs, and one that forces the defense to play the run, the run/pass Option, and the pass on nearly every possession. I disagree that they have absolutely no weak spots, as RT is a major area of concern. Kraemer is tremendously talented and a great run blocker already, but he struggles in pass protection against speed, as he is a natural guard as opposed to tackle. Thought Liam would beat him out, but he's being groomed at LT. Perhaps the ability to mix up the run and the run- pass option and the pass will keep defenses from taking advantage of this weak spot.

I'm pretty sure members of the media will never allow an ND player to win another Heisman.

Re: "The key for Brandon Wimbush will be to be able to handle success"

Wrong: The key for Wimbush will be completing passes and making 1st downs. All else is secondary.
