The following are my top predictions for 2017:

1. The offense will run the ball at a rate of 66%.
2. Notre Dame will finish in the top 10.
3. The defense will pitch at least 2 shutouts.
4. The offense will score 50 or more points in at least 2 games.
5. There will be a green jersey game.
6. It will be announced that Brian Kelly will finish out his contract.
7. One of the assistant coaches will be a head coach in 2018.

I like your predictions. Running the ball 66% of the time is asking a lot of a BK offense. More then running it that much, I would like to see more of an effective running game, like 5 or 6 yards per rush and have 225 to 260 yards a game.

No. 2 is insane. No. 4 isn't likely if no 1 comes true.

Very true. Although I think the offense will run the ball more with a new quarterback, if you watch the Memphis offense from last year it is not a running offense. I equate it to more of a New England Patriots pass/run team with quick outs that are like running plays. I know things can change and they should with the stable of backs ND has on the depth chart.

1: I think 60% would be very likely with a new starting QB, the RB talent and BK's history
2: I hope so!
3: Temple & BC? I don't see any other opportunities

5: Without a Shamrock series game, I'm not sure about this. Maybe the opener in the crossroads?
6: LOL. If 1 through 4 come true, you are stuck with him

So if we have 75 plays, that means 50 runs and 25 passes. I think a hurry up offense averages more plays a game.

If that formula results in scores and yards, I will go with it.

50 runs divided between Adams, Williams, TJ Jones and Wimbush. Some for Book/Avery and Holmes. Maybe Sanders or Alize.
