Ok who is going to ND for the game this weekend? I am so fired up to see the team and the stadium. Weather looks terrible right now, 52 degrees and rain they are calling for. Of coarse Easter Sunday was to be a complete wash out where I am and we did not get a drop of rain.

Ok to watch the game, but don't get caught checking out the new stadium features or admiring the upgraded amenities, or someone will get their panties in a bunch.

It should be really interesting to see ? I go into every season with high hopes. Interested to see how Wimbush
performs. I think that ND will have a much better ballance between run and pass ?

I know the offense will not show us much. But new coordinators in all 3 phase of the team will be a welcomed change to me.

I heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend that ND will be running the wishbone in a concentrated effort to blow everybody's mind. I hope no one from Temple is reading this.

After watching Ohio State's "spring game" -- basically an exercise in playground two-hand touch football -- I do not expect to see Kelly do anything fancy. Also -- please do not get all upset about how someone does or does not play -- this is basically a dress rehearsal and all the coaches want to do is let the guys enjoy themselves and not have any injuries.

To take anything away from the performance is basically useless.

^ ? is Wimbush the next M Vick or the next ?
could very well be but with a better arm. Wimbush will put fear into DCs around the country if he lives up to the hype because he can throw the ball 70 plus yds down the field and take off and run 50 or 60 yds or more against anybody. I've never been this excited to see a new starting QB since Paulus came to south bend as the nation's top QB back in 92 I believe

Vick never had the arm strength of Wimbush. Wimbush can run but not nearly as well as MV.

M Vick had every bit as good an arm as Wimbush. Vick was an athletic freak
you may be right. either way we have a QB that has the ability to be a great dual threat QB. again I haven't been this excited about the QB position since Ron Paulus came to south bend as the nation's top high school QB in 92

may be? as in yep, Correct!

The problem is you guys are so fickle! Clausen had far more hype than BW! And the forum was gaga over EG! Multiple HT's were predicted! It is hard to give such banter cred.

4-6 games in we should know more, then the accolades are borne of fact, not emotion.

I hate to be that guy, but it's Powlus in 1993.

Good Lord, if Wimbush is HALF the player that Vick was - we should all be thrilled!!

Vick was an athletic FREAK!! Vick was considered elite fast in the NFL - where EVERYONE is fast. His arm strength, though not the most accurate, was incredibly strong.

Had the whole dog fighting thing never happened, Vick would have been a Hall of Fame player. He gets cast aside because of the dog fighting scandal, but his football skills were unquestionable.

Of course!

Any knowledgeable college football fan knows this.

I think it was 93. He broke his collarbone in fall practice and Kevin McDougal became the starting QB

We're college football fans. We're allowed to have opinions borne of emotion. We can be fanatical even. That's college football.

Michigan and Harbaugh suck and always will suck. Why? Because its MICHIGAN. Harbaugh could just as good as Bo and he'll still suck? Why? Because Bo sucked. Why did Bo suck? Because its MICHIGAN. And MICHIGAN SUCKS.

I don't remember anyone predicting HT for EG? He was a three-star recruit with skills but from a smaller school. JC yes, people did think he would be the second coming. Should have stayed for his senior year.

BW has been here two years. He knows Kelly and his system. Hopefully, he'll be ready and play the way Kizer played his Sophomore (rs frosh) year. That is the big x factor for this team. That and the defensive line.

Stands and starts slow clap........

I'll be watching the game on the tube this Saturday. I'm excited to see if the defense shows better fundamentals. I'm an Irish fan and the glass is always half-full for me. Out of the ashes of 2016 hoping to see a much better team this fall.

I doubt the coaches will show much Saturday. The real show will happen when Georgia comes to town. We should know a lot about our team after that game.

Oh, I've been to the Spring Game before, in fact, it was in the Spring of 2007, left there wondering about the defense though and my fears were true. Just hoping to see the promise of what can and should be.
I know the true test of mettle and improvement comes in September.

I have never been more excited to see 3 QBs play to see what they all can do. None have any experience which scares the hell out of me.
