im a Steelers fan. Today Romo insisted that Big Ben was a HOF player. I just don’t see it. While Ben was great today in loss, his career was inconsistent at best. He won SB early jn his career where he was not the focal point of the team...or even offense. His QBR in the Seattle victory was 22.6. That’s the lowest rating by a winning QB in history of game, so Steelers win that inspite of Ben. Since 2010 when Steelers transitioned from a defensive football team that ran ball, we have 3 playoff victories. Those wins were against Andy Dalton/Cincy, Miami Led by Backup QB and a wildcard victory over KC and Alex Smith. Since 2010 Steelers have more playoff losses as a home favorite than they have playoff victories.
So how is the guy the team is built around HOF?
I hear same thing about Eli Manning and don’t get it.
When I think of HOF quarterbacks , I think of guys that were the best at their position. I think of guys that at some point we’re at worst a top three player for league MVP
Interested to hear thoughts of people on board
