It is interesting to me, because Wimbush was clearly rated higher. Wimbush came from a pretty good program at Prep, that has some good teams on their schedule. He reminds me a lot of Rashard Casey - another Jersey QB that went to Penn State. Casey was from Hoboken which was probably a better program at the time than Prep (clearly Prep has been superior for a while now). Wimbush at this stage to me seems like a guy who can run with both speed and power. He was a pretty good throwing motion and some good arm strength but isn't a polished passer cause he didn't really have to be in high school.
Golson to me was a better passer out of high school, probably a little bit better on the improvising aspect and extending plays. Be curious to get the take of those that evaluate kids for a living on who is the better prospect.
Just on tape, I think Golson's is better than Wimbush's, but Wimbush has better measurables and is stronger than Golson.
