these guys have been great players for ND and we've won a lot with them ... today I think they shot 2-13 from 3 while poor shooting WVa shot 8-13 from 3 and that is your game story ... flip those two stats and we win easy

They shot this poorly last Saturday, too. It was expected again. Thankfully, they're moving on. I hope Bonzie comes back next year but he'll likely take a shot at the NBA this spring.

I've enjoyed Beacham & Vasturia the past few years, but unfortunately their ice-cold shooting doomed the team. Last year's elite-8 run was powered by Beacham playing like an NBA 1st round draft pick. This year, not so much.

Bonzie already said he'd come back for another year. With Farrell, Colson, Ryan, Pflueger, & Gibbs coming back, they should be very competitive again.

I don't see VJ making it in the pros either. He has the ability but not the drive or desire. He disappears in way too many games.

And lose in the first or second round again. The recruiting has to pick up or its always going to be "hey at least they don't suck." Let's go after some star players. I don't think Swarbrick will ever take the shackles off of NDmbb though.

It isn't Swarbrick. It is the university, and it is a good thing.

As an ND graduate, I don't want the BB programs to chase 1 and done players. ND is and should remain a multi-year experience, not a 1 semester springboard to the NBA draft.

Coach Brey has built an amazingly consistent program. We'd all love a final 4 banner or NC. Hopefully soon!
