Defense
The secondary is playing awesome.
Great tackling.
Beautiful pick by Crawford.
4th and 1 stop.
Great penetration by big Myron.
Backside Pursuit has been awesome all year.

Offense
Attached tight ends more
Used misdirection in the running game.
Running game to right side was great.
The lineman getting downfield and blocking was great. Reminds me of Holtz days.
Getting to 2nd & 3rd level.
Nelson and McGlinchey were possessed in the 2nd half.

Tommy Kramer throws great- I mean great cut block on Wimbush long TD run.
Great job kid!
That may have been the best block I've seen in a long, long time.

Wimbush threw his best pass of the year to Durham.
Wimbush was a video game.
Once he controls how pumped up he is.
The passing will get there.

Special teams
Have to get deeper kickoffs.

Have to beat State or this won't mean much.

I was at a beautiful wedding yesterday, so I did not have to suffer through what would have been a complete meltdown for the first half and the first five minutes of the second half.

But after watching the tape, I'd say my hopes of a 10-2 (best) 8-4 (worst) season were wildly optimistic. Wimbush is a great tailback, but he is an absolutely terrible quarterback. The receiving corps is lousy as well. The offensive line is okay, not great, and the defense is better than last year, but still average. Remember BC was starting a freshman center and a freshman QB.

Faced with adversity, this team could go the way of last year's team in a hurry. I'm hoping somebody, anybody among our receivers decides they want to run routes, and I'm hoping against hope that Wimbush learns how to pass.

Glad you enjoyed the wedding, I enjoyed a 29 PT win over a team that almost always plays us tough. I agree that Wimbush's passing has been terrible, and our receivers look lost at times. Seemed to me that Mack and Wimbush are starting to develop some chemistry, and I thought Claypool started to separate from the competition. St Brown looks dejected from running around open, and no throws his way; and the few that are thrown to him have been poorly thrown. I think we'll see this threesome start to emerge as Wimbush's primary targets, and with increasing success. I also expect Stepherson to return after the Sparty game, and his speed and routes will open the game up for St Brown. Wimbush is clearly running on high octane, and needs to dial it back and get his passing under control. I think he is capable of this, and next weeks game with Sparty would be a good place to start.
