My apologies as I'm certain this has been covered at some point previously, but just curious: is the general thought right now that if Zaire goes down, Kizer takes over? I realize Wimbush seems to come with a bit more popularity and potential upside, but he also hasn't stepped foot on campus yet, so I'd think expectations need to be tempered until he proves otherwise.
And as a follow-up, if we are in fact running a run-heavy offense with a running QB, as Kelly eluded to in the Q&A, would you expect Kizer to be able to step in for an injured Zaire relatively smoothly (though of course with some expected drop-off)?
Anyone can answer, but I'm most curious in the staff's responses. Thank you.
