It will after next year. Likely a 14 team playoff. But all this talk about undeserving teams in the playoffs tells me 12 teams is too much, let alone 14. If we're not getting rid of the bowls, then I say switch to a 8 team playoff, no tie-ins.

Forget conference champ auto bids. Put the top 12-14 in based off of rankings. top 4 get byes if they keep byes.
I agree this is a mismatch so far, so early. ASU sure looks physically outmatched big time. The Texas D is no joke...and speaks to how good Georgia might be, given they beat Texas twice.
