When you write such an article and it has errors of basic proof reading, it loses it's cred.

What the hay........he refuses to make a 2017 prediction and then promptly predicts 10-2 or 11-1. His analysis is based basically on changes being made to the team.

So, let's give him the benefit of the doubt and see how the new, up tempo ND team does against a tougher 2017 schedule.

Kelly is still HC. Defense cant put pressure on qb's. 6-6 at best. But hopefully Kelly wont be back next season and Wimbush survives and gets experience.

We get out of the first 3, 2-1 anything is possible....Lots of "newness"...low expectations from opponents.....no real film to study will help us lots the first 3-4 games....when teams catch up, hopefully we are settled in...

No doubt the piece was sloppily written, and it also contained some glaring factual errors, but the thrust of its analysis was balanced and accurate. As intimated in the article, reasons abound for optimism.
