Arizona fires Sumlin a day after 70-7 loss to ASU
Arizona has fired football coach Kevin Sumlin after three seasons and on the heels of a 70-7 loss to rival Arizona State on Friday night.
Not really surprising when you are on a 12 game losing streak with an overall record at Arizona of 9-21.
My how this guy's career has cratered. He went 35-17 at Houston and 51-26 at Texas A&M. He was considered one of the top up and coming coaches in the business.
Remember how the media and fans praised Arizona for his hiring and laughed at Arizona State for hiring 'that old guy Herm Edwards'. I guess ASU has got the last laugh.
