Anybody See The Bama O Lineman Cut Block?

Clemson looks over matched at this point unfortunately. Offense can't move the ball and defensively AL has left some things wide open.

Still early. Do notice how aggressively Al rips at the ball.

Frankly, really surprised by how passive Clemson looks on both sides of the ball.

Hope Tony Jones Je has that size and speed next year like the Bama back

Notice the Freshman Bama QB doesn't have that classic Deer in the headlights look ND QBs always have.

What does that have to do with ND? The Bama QB is a rare find. A true Freshman who is a coaches son playing for a title. Deer in the headlight look happens to many rookie QBs across the country. Is there a BK nitpick list that I am not aware of?

I don't believe that was a shot at Kelly as much as it was how poised the youngman is. Not everything is hateing on coach Kelly.

Hurts arrived in Tuscaloosa in the winter of 2015. Technically he's a freshman, but it's not as if he started at Alabama last summer.

Surprised by these comments about Hurts. Less than fifty yards passing midway in third qtr. If ND QB had these stats, he'd be second guessed and highly criticized here.

Not being asked to throw at all because he is a runner.

Lots of helmet to helmet on Bama. No calls. Wonder why ND gets tossed constantly.

Not true
The criticism comes from turnovers more than anything, or not getting the play off in time.
Kizer was a good QB. I wish he stayed

Agree with the helmet hits - also when that dude hit Watson in the head with his arm.........68 yard td pass.....he can throw!

Clemson has hung tight ....Wats
No. Against FSU the CB engaged the ND receiver. An ACC ref buddy of mine said they reviewed that play as a team and said it should not have been called.
That was a shocker.....dam FSU!

Incredible back to back championship games. Feel fortunate to see and enjoy both. Love that the ACC asserts itself again.

Pretty much yeah. I started the thread with an observation about the Bama OL using the cut block and it wasn't too much longer that the ND QB play was brought up. I ended the discussion by mentioning that more rook QBs have that deer in the headlight look than not. What ND Freshman QB had that deer in the headlight look anyway? Who are we talking about and why is the guy who promised never to post here again still posting?
