Bon Jovi, Tori Hunter, David Robertson, Joe Montana, Chris Collinsworth, and on...We were in for snoops kid late last year, and any other pro athlete/celebrity child that starts getting FBS-looks almost automatically considers ND by default.

This can't be bad for ND going forward...

The Atkinson's. Evander Holyfield wanted his son to attend ND. Yeah it's pretty clear, Chase. I've mentioned this to my best friend many times.

I will just be happy if ND keeps getting great kids who can play D1 fb at the highest level. That usually means pretty great parents. No offense chace and it was a reasonble post but, celebrities don't much impress me. If fact i have a negative opinion of most. However any celebrity who wants their kids to go to ND gotta respect them. If i could have afforded ND the nephew and niece i raised as my own would have gone to ND.

I loathed the idea of Snoop roaming the ND sidelines. This university has more class than that. And yes, celebrity worship should pretty much end when a person becomes a grown up.

You're going to think I'm nuts but one of the best celebrities I ever came in contact with at the stadium was the Stanley Cup. Yep, I took pictures and reached over the wall for a touch. This was not this year but a couple of years back. I never thought in a million years that I would ever come in contact with the actual Stanley Cup. Even for this old guy, that was pretty cool.

Some of you guys take pleasure in ridiculing others. Are you not happy with your own life?

Some folks enjoy seeing celebs at our games. Why would you care?

Everyone likes to see notable people. Maybe not the same ones, but we all enjoy a chance encounter with a celebrity.

It's pretty easy to see who the jerks are around here.

The one that helps the most is Nico Ferttita, son of UFC co-owner Lorenzo Fettita. Lorenzo is a billionaire and having he and Nico should help keep our Bishop Gorman pipeline going. It was also one of the key factors of pulling in Alize Jones.

If I were Evander Holyfield ,I'd look at the running back situation . At ND , running backs Folston, Prosise ,Adams Williams ,all will be back . Elijah Holyfield will have a tough time breaking into the rotation in 2016 . If he were to attend ND ,red-shirt his freshman year 2016 .Probably Prosise and Folston will be gone after next year .So look for Elijah to be a big part of the running game in 2017. That is if E. Holyfield changes his commitment .

No, not all. Not everyone is so easily amused.

Professional athletes probably understand better than anybody the limitation of professional athletic careers. Even guys like Torii Hunter that have long careers still retire young enough to have a successful second career. And watching Torii Jr. in that last Showtime episode emphasized to me that successful pro careers can come at a high price. It makes me wonder if the kids of professional athletes have a different perspective on what it really means to make it it pro-ball too.

As long as the sons can play at a high level, I don't care whose kid they are!:)
