My daughter is a rising junior and for the last 2 years we were invited to buy tickets to 2 designated home games. They were usually the less popular games (I believe we were offered Rice and Louisville this past year), but it was nice to be included in "the family". I haven't seen a letter this year, so I called the ticket office and a young student (I presume) answered the phone. Apparently I am not the only one that has inquired, because she told me that she was instructed to tell parents that they weren't sure they were going to make the offer this year. She recommended that I purchase tickets when they are "open to the public" on 7/23 and that maybe in August they would send out the letters if there were tickets available. I don't know -- it seems wrong that the SMC/ND parents, who dump all sorts of money into the place, are not being offered before the general public. Can anyone shed some light on this?
