Any thoughts on Carter coming in? Safety concerns me. Hopefully Carter comes in and we can build some more depth back there.

Would he for sure start?

Seems like CB is absolutely covered with BM, Hart, Harper, and Mickens.

Safety seems to be up for grabs.

Safety is my biggest position concern for this season. I hope we get Carter for depth if nothing else. Watt is solid and might be very good this year. I thought Henderson would have a breakout season last year, but both he and Brown have been Weak in coverage and inconsistent in tackling. I’m hoping one of the freshmen will prove to be too good to keep out of the starting lineup.

We need bodies and depth. Imho he's a better option than counting on two cbs moving over and contributing at a high level right away. We will likely have to play Harper a little more at safety than slot as we were hoping, especially early on

I checked out his film. Intriguing. The guy is a football player and plays fast and aggressive. Played a lot of corner, but I think he may be too stiff in the hips. I wouldn't want him at nickel corner, unless they plan on playing a lot of zone. At the very least, I think he'd be a great special teams player and provide depth.

Harper is smaller and coming off a shoulder injury. Can he play safety? Yes. Is that a long term fit? If it's the best option, we have a problem.

I hope harper is the nickel corner when nickel is our base and a safety in obvious passing downs.

We need a portal safety to start opposite watts and we need lewis to be completely passed up

Do you mean Chris(retired wr)? He was the guy who was speaking to future NFL guys and told them that they had to have a "fall guy" when they were going to get in trouble. Nice representative of the NFL. 😂

I love it when a man is censured for telling the truth. One of ours said something like for who, for what? after an NFL UHaul game.
