So Ricks is 5th jr to leave and over a dozen others with eligibility heading out of Tuscaloosa— combined with 14 or 15th that have hit the portal. We all know he gets great talent but keeping them at or near the top with the annual turnover of personnel and coaches is pretty remarkable.

This is going to be his toughest challenge. They are losing a ton and no guaranteed stud QB in the wings

The bama dynasty hopefully is crumbling

the problem is only 11 can play at a time!

Definitely losing a lot and qb situation is far from resolved. Milroe looks very questionable and Simpson ( probably better) has almost zero experience. Oline will be very young and need to replace 4 starting db’s. Thought they would be more aggressive in the portal looking for experienced qb. Looks like they will lose their DC too. Don’t believe the dynasty is crumbling though, not with the last 2 recruiting classes plus portal opportunities. Looks like they still have a shot at Cormani McLain which will give them a shot at best recruiting class in last twenty years

Why he was so pissed and Jimbo last year. He didn’t get all of his tier A recruits the past 2 years (though still finished top 3 in all rankings)

They are getting a ton of top 30 players, maybe, these players were encouraged to enter the transfer portal, atleast, a few of them

NLI deals sometimes are linked to P.T. and for some guys they failed P.T.

We can't even get one five-star commit ... yet Bama eats them up craps them out and just keeps signing more. It's crazy.

Basically Alabama's incoming class is half-filled with the type of players ND cannot get. They get half of their incoming class of player's of that ilk. It's mind blowing how far ahead of the game Alabama is.

Are we just trading Alabama's dominance for Georgia's?
I’m not so sure that Alabama‘s demise is imminent !

I tend to think that Saban’s record, reputation and ability to recruit and coach will continue to attract the top players.

Agreed. Bama beat ga once last year and it was a 1 pt game with 4 min to go in 4th q of championship game. Bama was minus Jameson and Metchie and two starting corners in the natty. Bama loses a ton of talent and coordinators every year and it doesn’t seem to matter much. As long as Saban is at Bama they will be a big problem. Recruiting is a self fulfilling prophecy when every Sunday is a Bama highlight film

They’re committed to winning championships not just talking about it!

So is Notre Dame, but we’re an institution of higher learning, first and foremost, and that makes a big difference in how we go about being committed to winning a national championship !

Those who attended Notre Dame understand that difference and we aren’t willing to lower our standards and sell the university’s identity and soul in order to win a national championship !

Honest question. Do you have difficulty seeing smaller / not bold print? Its kind of annoying otherwise if you are choosing to use large bold print.

Yeah, is there a reason or is it just a ploy to get attention

Madison.

Evansville > Indy > Madison ... hoping to get back to less snow and cold one day soon :)
Some good golf in Nekoosa and they’re opening two new courses, a replica of Lido in 2023 and Sedge Valley in 2024. That’s when I intend to return for more golf. spring isn’t that far away ! 👍

Not in the Top 10 of schools with guys who have gone to the portal.

Actually there's 4 in the SEC who have more than them.
The NCAA is going to have to limit transfers entering a school, legally, I don‘t think they’d be able to limit those leaving a school.

Bama gets players that could not handle ND academics.

go count the players rated .99 on the rosters of your team vs Bama, UGA, tOSU and Clemson
