I can't speak for others, but I am just ecstatic on this morning. Not to mention, tired in that I just couldn't sleep because of the excitement. I have been a fan for close to forty years and recall those very lean years in the not so distant past, when the Stanford's and Southern Cal's of the world would beat up on our Irish as if it was the norm. Some expected that to happen on last night, it didn't. That is why we play the game!

We all know how very difficult it is to win in college football, so I am enjoying this one with no apologies. Some of our teams in the past would have folded, once they lost the lead, this team believes in each other and didn't. We have talent, just consider the starters; and back-ups that we have lost during and prior to the season and we are still winning. I can only say wow! I look forward to the rest of the season, versus cringing (in the past) with the feeling that our chances would be at best, a 50-50 proposition relative to a win or a loss. That is no longer the case. Go Irish!!

This is a balanced and extremely well coached team who keeps winning despite injuries which would provide contined excuses for most teams and coaching staffs. Brian Kelly may well be doing his best job of his career and despite the unfortunate loss to a Clemson team, Notre Dame was clearly better than, they will be in the playoffs with an 11-1 finish.

For us to be in the final four ,a few things have to take place
In the PAC 12, Utah has to lose and Stanford has to win out . A possibility.

In the Big 10 , there has to be an upset some where by a NW,Wisconsin ,Iowa ? Michigan can be a spoiler against Ohio St .Iowa with their schedule has the easiest road to Big 10 championship..Sure bet .Somebody in Big 10 gets in final four.

Big 12 , Oklahoma, TCU ,Baylor, Oklahoma St have to knock each other off ,and gets some help from West Virginia .

SEC .Have to hope LSU wins out

ACC just gotta hope Florida St and Clemson lose to some lower ranked teams in their conference .

Hoping that We get a lot of help .Odds still against us.

UM's brain fart did not help! Now the B10 will likely have an undefeated and a 1 loss team.

They way it looks right now. I think AL beats LSU and we could be looking at an AL/FL SEC championship game. Both have one loss so the loser of that game is out and the winner is in. It looks like either Baylor or TCU goes undefeated. That team is in. One team from the B10 is in. Our hope is that Stanford wins out except for losing to ND and ND replaces a P12 team. Of course we need FL to beat FSU and FSU to beat Clemson. WOW - It's going to be difficult, but there is still a lot of football to be played. Anything can happen. Just ask MI or Ole Miss.

Bama AND LSU might get in; if they play a game for the ages in the SEC head to head.
the winner of tOSU/MSU game is in
TCU or Baylor look like a spot
FSU or Stanford are the other with possibilities.

Even if ND beats Stanford, if FSU wins out or as mentioned LSU or Bama losses a classic, then both get spots.
ND has a shot at a Big bowl and top 10 finish! That is by any measure a great season!

Enough with the injuries BS. Prosise is just as good or better than Folston. The loss of J. Jones was big but Tillary is a great player and filling his shoes very well. Zaire may never get Kizer out of the starting role and it isn't like Smythe was an All- American.

Of course all teams have injuries and I was not making excuses, I was pointing to reality, something Peres an pazuzu know nothing about. The success of the Notre Dame team pointS out how a well coached and deep team can overcome injuries where others would just give up.

Not the only team with injuries but if you would have told me in May that ND would beat USC with their 3rd string QB and RB, I would have spotted ND 14. Tillery has a great future but the drop off from jargon jones to the next guy is huge, he was constantly in the backfield and very disruptive.

Again, happy with the win. The injuries that ND have are not as devastating as some would like you to believe. A good coach works around injuries and I think Kelly has done that.

Also, reality is not having 15 alter ego/usernames where you can't even keep track who you are when posting. I have seen you post under BigFellaFan and then have another post saying BigFellaFan is right under the BigFallaFan username because you forgot to switch to one of your other aliases. LOL.

^ I don't think that there is any attempt to confuse the board as to his behavior or motivations.

The truth is Paz, except for his style and character, I can understand why his attitude and loyalty is what it is.
But being a 'fan' of the Head Coach makes you a fan of his employer, which is at the moment ND.
We are fans of ND.
