the Battle of the Bulge, the largest and bloodiest battle of WWII, began. Walking my dog in some snow that was frosted over dressed like an Eskimo, thought about our outmanned brave soldiers in summer gear in horrible freezing and snowy conditions in the Adrennes pushing back the German attackers. Our eventual victory enabled us to have a clearer path to Berlin.
For me, ‘‘tis the season to appreciate those who had fought and now fight for our liberties and freedoms.
