Merriweather discussed his fellow ND signees, how he processed head coach Brian Kelly leaving for LSU, his expectations for new head coach Marcus Freeman, coaches from other schools reaching out to him before he signed and staying in high school to run track this spring.
Merriweather also mentioned Purdue coach JaMarcus Shephard and Alabama coach Holmon Wiggins as potential wide receivers coach targets for Notre Dame. I don't know if he's getting that from social media or the coaching staff. I know Wiggins' name was circulating earlier this week. Shephard was a name that had been floated by me from outside Notre Dame.
