I think the Irish would score more points than Bama can. Their offense does not look good and Notre Dame has too many weapons on offense.
Bama's....watching this game I am not impressed. Bama is dropping easy interceptions...Tennessee almost sacked the Bama QB for a huge loss and their was obvious holding which was not called...ND is playing Bama's defense or Tennessee's?
Of course, CBS hypes every SEC game as though it were the Super Bowl.Game was on CBS
Yes, it was on CBS...great reporting SALG! However, it's ESPN who bought the SEC network, who sets their own topic bars on radio and TV to boost their monetary investments, and who promote their employees to say a 3-4 SEC team is better than a 5-1 Big 12 team or there should be 4 SEC teams in the CFB playoffs.Game was on CBS
It is interesting that Ole Miss was ranked 24th after losing to Memphis. Anyone else, they would have disappeared from sight.New era? The things I referenced happened last year. I'll buy into what you're saying when it's reflected in the polls (which it isn't yet hence them still making a big deal about the # of SEC teams in the top 25), or the "reports" from the playoff committee. Until then (and I do hope it is as soon as you think SAL) I will continue to internally and externally rampage against the SEC bias
Exactly right. Bama has NFL talent on the offense, but saban doesn't care about big plays or 40+ points. In Savan's mind a 3 point lead is a 30 point lead. That isn't how the Bama roster is set up. Saban doesn't care if he only scores 14 points. As long as he dominates time of possession and his defebse stops the opponents from scoring.
Saban recruits the front 7, the O line, the secondary, then the skull positions. He almost builds his roster backward. Which is odd. But it obviously (when done right) is very successful
