I thought MSU would give Bama better game than this for sure. It's turning out to be similar beat down like ours in '12 championship game.

Neither playoff game was exciting with outcome decided by mid 3rd quarter in both. Hopefully championship game is more competitive than this crap show.

several of our board 'trashed' Bama all season long - SEC as over-rated.

well it is now 'crunch time'

I don't get that either. A few here (during reg. season) would say what has Bama done this year to be considered for playoffs or what has Ohio state done? I say we should get to their level before questioning teams that have won multiple national championships lately and win on the big stage (new year's day bowls etc) on consistent basis.

lets be honest, MSU was a good not great team. They beat Purdue by 3 at home and Rutgers in the final minutes. This is to say nothing of Michigan literally handing them a win. I thought they'd give Bama a decent game, but this does remind me of the 2012 Irish.

They also won three games on the last play, one of which was a gigantic gift.

Connor Cook threw too many interceptions. I thought it was funny how the 2nd string QB. had a great run and then he comes out of the game. Bama players are 4XL.

I think the SEC was overrated this year....lots of good teams, not a half dozen powerhouses as in past years. But Alabama is in a league of its own.

You get what you pay for lol. But, seriously, for the most part i thought the MSU players looked likeD1 fb players and Bama players looked more like an NFL team. I mean size wise. Don't know what they're feeding them down there but, ND could use some of it.

Not sure what they're eating, but I noticed they all have an issue with acne.

Yawning...
MSU...Yank gun from holster, pull trigger too soon, bullet into foot.

Dropped passes, picks, then momentum was lost and so was the game.

It was clear from about week 6 or 7 on that Alabama would be favored on a neutral field against every team. That loss to Ole Miss was a huge fluke. If they play 10 times, Alabama wins at least 8 of the .

MSU just wasn't that good and it was never in doubt that it would not be able to score enough to keep this one competitive.

additive research > detection research

actually (stat wise) the MSU defense was pretty good. Bama did not just run over them at will.

But played out like all those Alabama games do. MSU did nothing to help itself and Alabama was just its typical methodical self. It's a little like watching a boa take out a rabbit. The snake might not seem interested at first but when it's time to eat, game over.

Look for Clemson to be far more effective. Watson is > Manziel (who gave Bama fits!) and Clemson has a D.
Bama will not win in the same manner as the MSU game. Bama will need to be better to win.

Remember someone on this board several months ago say he would like ND to be matched up with Alabama in the championship game. My immediate thought was "be careful what you wish for." On any given Sunday I do believe Alabama could be very competitive with any .500 team in the NFL.

Everybody says that early in October when Alabama has its annual hiccup. But Saban seems intent on creating the greatest dynasty in college football history.

I was shocked at how well alabamas defensive line moved with Albert and herbstreit so far up their butts.
