ADE OGUNDEJI COMMITS

Holy cow, he is rated as high or higher than 8 of Harbaugh's recruits. And, many college coaches have been quoted as saying this kid has flown under the radar. He is 16 with size 18 feet. Likely to play at 280 lbs.
I would take the shot.

Age 16..........really! Sounds to me like a project but what the hey...........he just might be the kind of kid the right coach could mold into a star. And that shoe size...........18. Tells me he has a lot of growing yet to do. Sometimes you have to take chances and this one looks worthy of some risk taking.

I'll put my faith in Gilmore's ability to assess and recruit DL talent until he proves otherwise.

The kid is only 16. He is listed 6'5 220 lbs. he has a ton of upside. Hopefully he sticks with his commitment. I remember when Bob Davie was head coach. He actually did pretty good recruiting considering the limitations he had. Anyway there was a kid from the state of Alabama that was not highly recruited or regarded. I believe at the time he was 17. I remember Davie talking about him saying he was a very good athlete but needed time to grow. He was listed at 6'5 , 215 lbs and a linebacker. He didn't get much attention but Davie saw something in him and recruited him to Notre Dame. I still have the magazine of the signed recruits that year. The player I am talking about.........Justin Tuck. We all know how he turned out. Don't go by stars. Coaches watch these kids and evaluate them. It's not an exact science. But they know what they are looking for. In 3 years we will know if this kid pans out. He must have ability. But we'll see how he turns out down the road.
