A Typical Under the Dome Poster after an Irish win.

99.9% of posters on this board know virtually nothing about the game of football or how a coach prepares a football team. But they sure think they do!!!! Always good for a belly laugh.

FloridaIrish...Playing and/or coaching the game of football certainly gives a certain perspective and knowledge base that is greater than the average fan. However, I think you overestimate the importance of both. Our son has CP and never played a down of football in his life. One of his best friends started at Stanford for three years and coaches at a local high school. Together they spend countless hours all year talking football and X and O's, reviewing tape, etc... And I would venture to say our son understands the game and can evaluate talent as well as his friend, and most coaches in the area. As well, many posters on this board likely never played or coached the game, but love and understand it nonetheless, and their opinions are just that: opinions, and just valid as yours, coach and all.

I've coached at Pop Warner, High School and 2 years NAIA but I am not presently coaching football, So it sounds like you have the wrong guy.

He is not FloridaIrish, SAL.
