Fenway and the green uniforms and all the Shamrock series BS was a HUGE distraction for Notre Dame. You could see it in Kizers eyes.
I guarantee if that game was a 230pm game at South Bend we win like 31 to 6.
Kizer was really distracted. I am glad we will be playing at a real football stadium Saturday night.
Notre Dame has a great team. No need for a circus. IMHO.

Max Redfield has better hair than Bob Diaco. Tillery is amazingly flexible - keep it up and add a hundred pounds and he can wrestle sumo! Go Irish.
Big Bo - thanks for the link - good one - this shamrock series deal may have to be tweaked some - the players and coaches were too caught up in the "iconic" venue than being prepared to play.

You know you may be right....I thought the same thing watching Showtime.....just such a different environment, it was analogous to playing basketball in a Dome or on an aircraft carrier.....got to think it might throw you off a bit (of course both teams have same challenge).
