I feel your pain. We have fans excited to win the Pac-12....South. Not kidding, thrilled to win half a conference. Both our great programs are headed the wrong direction.

It’s funny because I live in GA and most UGA fans kept saying the same thing about Coach Richt. They took a chance and got rid of a good coach but I really don’t know the prospects out there (and please don’t say Meyer or Gruden).

Some on this board consider 9-3 a good season. Let's just put the 9 wins in perspective.
What is the best win of the 9 wins? SC, Who plays in one of the weakest conferences around?
If this was Kelly's 2nd or 3rd year this season would be fine. HOWEVER! This is year EIGHT!!! Nothing, absolutely nothing has changed since year 1 of the Kelly era. What's crazy is Lou was at ND from 86-96. Kelly has been at ND almost as long as Lou. Yet, Kelly will never have a statue in front of the stadium.

9-3 win a pinstripe type bowl and he is save for another 4 years.

Really? Headed in the wrong direction? Clay Helton is the first USC coach in the history of the school...to win 10 games in each of his first two seasons.

Additionally, USC was the only team in Division 1 Football to not have a bye during the first 12 weeks. No time to recuperate, no time to get the legs fresh and give players a week off from injury.

This was their first week off...Pleased to win the South? Damn right we are. And hopeful to win the conference next Saturday.

We laid an egg in South Bend against a solid Irish team...and lost on the road on a Friday night following a road game against a "hot" Wazzu team at the time.

Helton has gone through a helluva lot crap this year...and worst case...we'll post 10 wins. I suspect there are many schools in D1 that would love to have 10 wins.
