Nice stat. I'm sure it works well especially with guys who know they may not make it to the next level. The challenge I think that happens with 5 star recruits, is they're likely convinced they'll be a first round draft pick anyway and make millions more than anyone else.

Which is only a reality for 5% of them. Even so, a first round pick is a first round pick. So it’s silly not to choose ND regardless.

My freshman year of college before i transferred to ND I played football at a MAC school. In one of our first summer meetings a coach asked the freshmen who believed they were going to play in the NFL. Roughly 90% raised their hand.

This was at a MAC school, I can only imagine the mindset of tier 1 high school football players….
