I can confirm that Laurens (S.C.) District 55 three-star safety Thomas Jones is on campus today. I got word that there was a chance he might be at Notre Dame, but wasn't sure if he would be making the trip.
Jones, who holds offers from Vanderbilt, North Carolina and South Carolina, was evaluated by Irish assistant Autry Denson during the spring evaluation period. His sister attends South Carolina and he has a cousin that went to Wake Forest.
The 6-3, 210 pound safety was offered by the Irish in early June.
