Notre Dame had a local quarterback prospect throw on campus Tuesday. Oswego (Ill.) High three-star quarterback Steven Frank worked out at the Irish's summer camp this morning for offensive coordinator Mike Sanford.

Frank – who holds offers from Boston College, Illinois, and UConn – said he was invited by Sanford to throw at the two-hour session, which included some seven-on-seven work.

Notre Dame continues to evaluate quarterbacks in the 2016 cycle, and Frank is an arm that the staff wanted to see up close and in person. The Irish feel that there are some talented options at quarterback, but they appear not to be ready to make move on any of them – yet .

The 6-4, 216-pound Frank is ranked by Rivals.com as the No. 32 prospect in Illinois.
