Charlotte (N.C.) Catholic three-star linebacker Alexander 'Xander' Gagnon says he will be in South Bend for the Irish Invasion on Friday. Gagnon, who is ranked as the No. 39 prospect in the state of North Carolina, holds offers from Duke, Boston College, Northwestern, Vanderbilt, Virginia and North Carolina.
He camped last week at Florida State and turned some heads at the camp. He said he will spend the night in the area and will workout at the invite-only camp. The 6-4, 218-pound linebacker is originally from the Cincinnati area. Irish recruiting coordinator Mike Elston visited his school in May.
