Notre Dame landed its first commitment of the 2025 recruiting class Friday evening.
2025 four-star defensive tackle Davion Dixon announced his verbal commitment to the Irish. He's currently visiting Notre Dame for the Blue-Gold Game Saturday.
Rivals ranks Dixon as the No. 10 defensive tackle in the 2025 class. The 6-foot-2, 300-pound defender attends Miami (Fla.) Belen Jesuit Prep. As a sophomore, he recorded 70 tackles and 10.5 sacks.
Dixon chose Notre Dame over offers including Florida, Florida State, Nebraska, Penn State and others.
