On Wednesday, Notre Dame 2025 cornerback target Devin Williams announced on X/Twitter that he’s releasing his top schools on Dec. 9.
Williams, a four-star recruit out of Buford (Ga.), visited the Irish for the Ohio State game in September. He also camped at Notre Dame in June and received one-on-one instruction from cornerbacks coach Mike Mickens.
In a message to Inside ND Sports after the Ohio State game, Williams said the following:
“The game lived up to the hype! Notre Dame presented themselves well and had nothing to be ashamed about. The fans are 110% behind the team! Their passion was on full display and the between play stoppage interaction was awesome. That far exceeded my expectation.”
Per Rivals, Williams is the No. 9 cornerback and No. 88 overall player in the 2025 recruiting class.
This season, Williams also visited Alabama, Auburn, Florida State and Tennessee. He has 31 total offers.
