Notre Dame has had good luck in the portal with Shrader and Grupe.

ND has not signed a place kicker since 2021 Joshua Bryan (has since transferred). They don’t have one recruited in the class or 24 or 25 yet.

Seems to be a portal position.

Yeah, Freeman seems to have decided to go this route every year - bring in a star transfer kicker instead of recruiting any out of high school. It's worked well so far.
