Can't recall the thread, but someone posted next year will be ND's year because the schedule will not be as difficult. What?? Michigan, Florida State, Virgina Tech, Stanford, USC; then Northwestern,
Syracuse, Wake Forest; Vanderbilt, Navy, Pitt and Ball State. That is 5 real tough games, 3 that could be tough; leaving only 4 clearly should win games. Looks pretty tough to me.

Already looking forward to Steele's football magazine. The best out there. He had ND as the biggest turnaround team this year, and I think he was right (for a lot of reasons).

I had lunch with Pike. He told me that Michigan and Stanford will be the prime time home games. FSU is too late in the season to have a prime time night game in South Bend. I responded that I wouldn't put it past Jack S. to have three night games next season. Pike said he'll talk to Jack about it and get back to us.

I know I feel next year’s schedule is more favorable than this year’s. I am certainly not saying it will be easy by any stretch and it may only be marginally “easier.” Michigan, Stanford, FSU and Syracuse at home will help, Ball State is 2-9, Vandy 4-7, Pitt 4-7, Northwestern has indeed come on stronger and had some good wins.

That is because he was just informed
