2016 4 star GA ATH Marquez Callaway

Callaway is a big time 4 star ath that has offers from just about every big time school including auburn, Georgia and bama. our irish were after him hard early on in the process but then things cooled off until recently. he just said in an interview this week or so that not only are our irish recruiting him the hardest along with tenn, usc and miss st but that if he had to choose a school today that there would only be one hat on the table and that it would irish and that he couldn't think of any other school that it would be basically if not them. he wants to decide in early jan. he plays safety and wr and is a top 15 rated wr and a top ten rated db. kid is a stud and would look great in blue and gold. he said that he loves how our irish prepare the players basically for life after football and that he could get a great job with a notre dame degree

I think what he said was he knew for sure of 1 hat at the table, not that it'd be the only hat. I'm a little skeptical of this. Not saying we dont have a good shot, just that he hasnt visited and has visited other schools, but we are the only 1 for sure that would have a hat on the table at his decision. I hope he's not just using the ND brand to get attention and twitter followers. Cause like you said, kid is a stud.

I think we fans are going to hear more of this from top 4 and 5 star recruits if our irish keep winning. kids are really starting to take notice of our irish now that there 6-1 after beating usc. Kelly said a week or so ago in one of his weekly pressers that staff people have told him that the showtime show is really helping in recruiting
