1st Half Evaluation

Defense is incredible. Maybe "D" is the strength of the team. Who knows because it is too early. Offense left points on the board. We should be up at least 24-31 at this point. Kelly must come out with a killer instinct...something we have been missing in prior years. 4th and 1 call is a head scratcher. FG TO's worked out...God knows if he called a TO when the kicker missed how this board would respond but I give hime credit...for once his decision paid off. Zaire is the real deal. Come out in the 2nd half and turn him loose. Then beat them down with the running game. Jaylon is All-World. So is Day.

I am both happy and disappointed. The team is loaded with talent, but We have to stop Texas on their second half first possession. If they come out and score
they are ba ck in the game, and what should be a laugher for ND could be a lot closer that this game should be ?
We should have had another score, but we got sloppy on offense.

3rd and long screen pass has to be scrapped if we want to go undefeated. Let Sanford call The plays.
