14th ranked irish vs 12th ranked virginia gameday thread

our 14th ranked irish play at home tonight vs 12th ranked Virginia at 8 pm on the acc network. Virginia plays as good of defense as any team in the nation which is why they have been a top 15 rated team for the last few years. Virginia is the type of team that will be happy only scoring only 45 pts if it means holding you to under 45. our irish are in for a tough fight but it is being played in south bend and so that could give them the edge as it is very tough to win on the road in conference play

And we have just been told by the resident moron on this website that ND will only have one set against UVA's m-t-m defense...a player will get the ball at the top of the key and everyone will clear out and he will go one-on-one. It's the only set they have ever run in Brey's helm at ND...boy oh boy I hope it works!

hoping for a great game but also hoping for no blackouts which sometimes happens when the acc network does the games. missed watching a great florida st vs irish cause of blackout and had join Jack Nolan for his radio broadcast of the game
