    Question about scholarships

    So I saw that ND gave 2 walk-on players scholarships for Christmas. Why do we do this versus taking 2 additional recruits? Seems like maybe the coaches did not calculate the numbers properly OR is this a sign that some current players will now go into the draft versus coming back for another year?
