Will Howard just entered the transfer portal.

I know a majority of the board is against another transfer QB. I certainly would love for a current player to start, but I’m also not at practice every day so I have no idea who is ready and who isn’t.

Anyways, it’s a pretty big name and it’ll be interesting to see where he goes.

I watched some highlights of Howard. He looks more talented than Coan - bigger arm and a better runner.

Rumors are that the staff prefers Leonard. However, one advantage to Howard might be size and durability. He's 6'5, 240. Leonard's 6'4, 210, and got hurt this year.

So if we bring in Leonard, we'd better have a good backup available.

I like Howard. Riley gets hurt a lot with that frame of his. He needs to spend every day in the weight room. Pratt does not have experience at playing power 5 football.
Maybe, other QB’s will enter the portal.
As it stands right now Riley looks like the best option. He kind of reminds me of Buckner, but has better accuracy.

I’ve watched both Hurd and Leonard, they are not much different. I think Hurd throws a better ball and Lenoard is a better runner though Hurd is a solid runner himself.

Not sure this is true. Very good runner. Almost beat Texas. Guided a solid team except in a snow storm. At least equal to Hartman in talent.
