Notre Dame women's basketball will host Western Michigan (5-4) in Purcell Pavilion at 6 p.m. EST for its final non-conference game of the 2023-24 regular season.
The No. 14 Irish (8-1) have won the last eight games since a blowout loss to South Carolina in the season opener.
Graduate senior guard Kaitlyn Zarycki, a product of nearby Niles, Mich., leads Western Michigan in scoring with 16.4 points per game. The 5-foot-8 Zarycki also leads the Broncos in rebounding with 5.4 per game. Redshirt sophomore guard Maggie Stutelberg is the only other player averaging double-digit points with 12.8.
Barring a change, the Irish will likely still be without injured players Olivia Miles, Sonia Citron, Cassandre Prosper and Emma Risch. Head coach Niele Ivey continues to avoid providing clarity on timelines for their returns.
